Pre-Conference Workshop: Planning and Conducting Advocacy at National and Subnational Levels, September 25, 1:00pm–4:00pm
Tara Kovach and Kavita Sethuraman, joined by Danielle Heiberg (Global Health Council) and Annie Toro (US Pharmacopeia), will present Planning and Conducting Advocacy at National and Subnational Levels. Using Visualisation of Participatory Programmes (VIPP) methodology to engage participants, and with examples from several countries, the workshop will focus on the key elements of a comprehensive advocacy process.
Panel: Collaboration with Governments for Ensuring Quality Nutrition Services September 26, 11:00am–12:30pm
Serigne Diene and Amanda Yourchuck will be members of the panel on Collaboration with Governments for Ensuring Quality Nutrition Services. Focusing on improvements in the utilization of nutrition services and overall nutritional impact in Malawi and Nigeria, panelists will share lessons learned and how they may be useful for expansion of improved nutrition services into new areas.
