To harmonize efforts by governmental and nongovernmental institutions working to promote good nutrition in Cote d’Ivoire, FANTA assisted the Ministry of Health and AIDS Control, through the Coordinating Director of the National Nutrition Program in collaboration with the National Program for Care and Treatment of PLHIV, in the development of a national nutrition social and behavior change communication (SBCC) strategy. The strategy helps ensure coordination of SBCC in nutrition programming and harmonization of key nutrition messages to be used by implementing partners. FANTA also completed a literature review of existing communication documentation to guide the development of the national SBCC strategy.
