Stunting levels in Guatemala are alarming, affecting half of children age 3 to 59 months. FANTA is helping Guatemala’s ministries of health and finance use activity-based costing to determine the costs of and better advocate for critical nutrition interventions needed to reduce stunting. The costing process is helping raise awareness in Guatemala of the need to invest more to improve nutrition.
