As part of the rollout and implementation of USAID's 2014-2025 Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Strategy, a series of Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Global Learning & Evidence Exchanges (MSN-GLEEs) are planned for USAID mission staff and other U.S. Government staff, host country government partners, implementing partners and other experts.
A presentation at the Clean, Fed & Nurtured (CF&N) session at the Global Health Mini-University on March 4 by CF&N members, including FANTA’s Monica Woldt, outlined the “why” and the “how” of developing and measuring indicators for integrated global health programs to better promote essential multisector collaboration of WASH, nutrition, and ECD.
This landscape analysis documents nutrition indicators that are collected at the national level in 16 PEPFAR-funded countries. A total of 321 nutrition-related indicators were identified and are presented by country in the report.
The new national recipe guide provides health care providers, community workers, nutritionists, and others with nutritious recipes based on local foods and products that can be used in the counseling of mothers and caregivers for feeding children 6–24 months of age in Côte d’Ivoire.
